Please consider this message as your personal invitation to join our family in one of the prettiest places in Kankakee County, Cobb Park, located in the Riverview Historic District on June 15th, 2008, for our Run/Walk for Autism.

ODDS OF A CHILD BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE: 1 IN 16,000
ODDS OF A CHILD BEING DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM: 1 in 150

The 13TH Annual Kilbride Family Classic has grown from a field of 100 participants in our first race in 1996 to 545 in 2007.  Financial support (donations) continues to increase as well.  Due to the generosity of family, friends, and community members, we raised $6000 in 2005, $8000 in 2006 and over $10,000 in 2007. You may choose to donate to Autism Speaks or to The Kankakee Valley Chapter of the Autism Society of America.

Back by popular demand-- the 2008 Kilbride Family Classic:  A Children's Run for Kids ages 10 and under. Each child participating will receive a t-shirt and special recognition.

All Participants will Receive an Award!

 TEAMS, TEAMS, TEAMS

Brothers and sisters, moms and dads, cousins and in-laws, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors, co-workers and employees…these are just some of the people you can recruit to be on your 2008 Kilbride Family classic team.  Your incentive: the team with the most participants wins a great prize!

Our grandson Scott, now 14 yrs old, has Autism.  Scott has made much progress, but he has much further to go. Let us join together to be proper stewards. Let us turn our hope into work, and turn our work into dreams restored. Together we will find a cure!

Come join us on Sunday, June 15th, and help get us ready for a bright future--a day we believe will come. Get you application on line at :  www.runforautism.com  or call Gerry or Judy Kilbride 1-815-932-3885 or 1-815-258-9195
